Takatoshi Nakamura

Representative Director, Information Security Research Institute

He holds four engineering degrees from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Graduate School of Science and Technology, Keio University, and from the Departments of Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Civil and Environmental Engineering, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

After working at McKinsey & Company Japan, he served as a former researcher (visiting researcher) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where he conducted research on computer architecture and information security.

He successfully developed a "cognitive processor," a non-von Neumann logic circuit, and based on this, completed quantum computer-resistant complete cipher technology.

Applying these results, he developed an end-to-end protection communication system, a remote authentication IoT system, and "Cipher Cash," a non-ledger-based cash-type CBDC platform. He is promoting the social implementation of information-theoretically secure cryptographic technology and working to establish next-generation information security and financial infrastructure.
